Operation Fat Liberation

Operation Fat Liberation is a transformative initiative created to showcase businesses, services, and individuals who are setting the standard for accessibility, inclusivity, and equity for fat people. Our mission is to amplify the voices of the fat community and to help build a world where fat people have equal access to the services and experiences that society often denies us.

Through this project, we highlight businesses that not only say they are body-positive but truly make an effort to be inclusive and welcoming to all bodies—especially fat bodies. Whether it's fashion, wellness, beauty, or entertainment, these businesses show that accessibility and inclusivity are not just buzzwords but core values that can be integrated into any industry.

The journey of Operation Fat Liberation began in Portland, Oregon, and will continue to grow nationwide. In Portland, we partnered with eight incredible businesses that are leading the charge in making their spaces welcoming for the fat community. From clothing stores to wellness centers, these businesses are proving that fat people deserve the same access and respect as anyone else.

As we continue our mission, we are expanding to other cities, with twelve more businesses already lined up for our next feature. Operation Fat Liberation is gaining momentum and will soon be covered nationally, making waves in the movement for fat liberation.

We know that this is just the beginning. Operation Fat Liberation is more than just a project; it’s a movement. It’s about making lasting change, creating a world where fat people can be seen, celebrated, and have access to the same opportunities as everyone else. Together, we are showing the world that fat liberation is not just a dream—it’s a reality we are building every day.
